As the year draws to a close, it is the perfect time to express our season's
greetings. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful
holiday season in the warmth and comfort of your loved ones. Furthermore we
would like to thank you for your confidence in i-doit, our documentation
solution for your IT operations. In 2011 we provided you with several new
features. Especially our i-doit pro customers largely benefitted from a German
IT security module (IT-Grundschutz), a CMDB Explorer or an extended CSV import.

2012 shall be shaped by sustainable development for those who matter: our
users. We strive to supply the best possible support in terms of ease of work
and risk provision. Clearly – and this has not just been underlined by current
surveys, moreover by our i-doit users – a standardized documentation is of
fundamental importance. Cultivating information needs to turn into the key in
taking action. This can only be achieved by intelligent documentation.

We look forward to accompany you on your path in 2012 and now just have "one
more thing":

The pro-release 0.9.9-8 is out there! Main feature is the completely revised
network and IP documentation. With the new features like layer 2, layer 3, IPv4
or IPv6, VLAN, DNS or DHCP, the new version provides all necessities for
control and management. These are obviously part of the further documentation
to assist you in cultivating your information. The new version is now available
for all customers in the portal.
