Server - Storage - Device - Hardware-RAID-Group
-
Hello!
I'm faced with the following problems.
Short history:
I tried to model my network with i-doit and had some troubles with Hardware-Raids in Version 0.9.1 … so I did an update to 0.9.2.whatever.
Within an server object I created two devices (SATAs ... but I think that's not the problem). After update to 0.9.2.. I tried to create the Hardware-Raid-Group with these two SATAs, but it was not possible again, more detailled, I found the following problems.
First I tried to create such an Device with existing SATAs, now (after upgrading to 0.9.2.x) all the fields work und you can select the disks and save the RAID but afterwards, the disks are not in this RAID anymore. So when I recur to this RAID's details, there are no disks in there AND it's not possible to select one. The overview page of this RAID-Group tells me: No elements selected.
I mentioned that it's possible to add a Disk to an RAID - Group while creating / editing. I did so and edited my existing SATA and selected the RAID-Group just created. Result is the following php - error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method isys_cmdb_dao_storage_device_hd::set_status() in /path/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/isys_cmdb_dao_storage_device.class.php on line 633So I tried (on an other server object) the same but in reversed order: Create RAID-Controller, RAID-Group with no devices, new Device SATA and add to the RAID - Group just created. Now it seems to work, just the mem count fails.
Best regards

These problems are fixed with v0.9.3. So we recommend an update to this version.
