80g-deduction

Section 80g enables the donors to deduct a contribution towards donations to qualified charitable organizations. The amount of deduction may be 50 or 100 percent of the donation as required by the organization. The organization has to be registered under 80g and offer a valid certificate to the donors in order to be able to avail of this.
