Raid 6 selbst definieren

Hallo mal wieder! (=
Da Raid 6 ja noch nicht implementiert ist würde ich diese gerne selber tun. Ist ja eigentlich nur ein Raid 5 minus einer Platte bei der Gesamtkapazität (also (Anzahl der Festplatten - 2) x GB der kleinsten Platte)).
Irgendwo berechnet irgendwas dies ja wohl… Kann mir ein Entwickler sagen wo?

Ich an eine raid.js gefunden i der das Raid berechnet wird. Allerdings kann ich die Datei ändern wie ich will (und auch löschen ^^) aber das Raid wird weiterhin berechnet.
Ist das die falsche Stelle oder muss ich irgendwo noch was einstellen oder den Cache leeren? Den Systemcache unter Verwaltung habe ich schon geleert.
