      hello,

im trying to install i-doit version 0.9.8-3 in an up to date ubuntu karmic koala lampp system. however, the webinstaller fails after hitting "Next" at step 3 (database configuration), giving the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function num_rows() on a non-object in /var/www/idoit/updates/classes/isys_update_modules.class.php on line 46

I created a user idoit, and the databases idoit_system and idoit_data, the root user and its password also works. connecting to the mysql database is also possible (tested using telnet and phpmyadmin).

does anyone know, what to do?

      thanks in advance!

This only occurs if you try to install a module. Our Package on i-doit.org should be update with a fix for this. Please try redownloading it
