French Translation

Hello,
I have not seen any french translation so i have tried to begin an do it :
- i have created a fr.inc.php file from the en.inc.php one
- i have put it in the /var/.../src/lang/ directory
- i have added a record in the isys_language Table
- i have restarted everything
And i don't succeed in viewing any french "translation" in the WEB GUI. Have i forgotten something ? Where can i find logs to see if something goes wrong ?
Sommething with cedilla and accents ?

out of the box i-doit only supports englisch and german languages.
Changing the language in the database is not the best solution. It would be better to create custom language files. You will find more informations here : https://kb.i-doit.com/display/en/Localization#Localization-LanguageConstantsBest
