Wer hat Erfahrungen mit MySQL 8.0?

Hallo Community,
betreibt jemand zufällig i-doit auf MySQL 8.0 und kann etwas dazu sagen?
Wir haben unsere Installation auf einem Ubuntu 16.04 LTS gestartet, damals mit MySQL 5.x, inzwischen hochgezogen auf 18.04 LTS. Demnächst wollen wir auf 20.04 LTS gehen und damit einher geht auch MySQL 8. Es laufen noch andere, größere Anwendungen auf dem Server und deshalb ist eine Migration Richtung MariaDB etwas das ich gerne vermeiden würde, wenns geht.
