    How Do I add Permissions to New User?

      I can't find where to set permissions to a new user account.

        You have to add him to a (right)-group. It's under the point groups when you are in the detail view of a user

          I don't see "Point groups" when I am editing a user.

            Hi wxnil - i think ds has meant the menu item "Groups". You find it inside the menu tree of contacts…

              Sorry to bother you with this topic again but I am also not able to set any rights for a new user, nor am I able to edit those for existing users. I simply can't find any GUI for this. Do I have to use the desctription of how to change it on the databse directly? If so, is that still valid? I ran in to trouble with foreign keys when I tried the example…btw, I installed the latest stable build.

              CORRECTION:
              well, today I suddenly realised the "+" for to expand the submenu of the Person properties...mixture of user too dump and layout too cool I'd say 🙂
