Installationsproblem - Debian Sarge - Version 0.8.6

Hallo,
Mein System:
- Debian Sarge 3.1
- apache 2.0.54
- php 4.3.10
- mysql 4.0.24
Mein Problem:
das INSTALL.SH läuft Problemlos durch.
wenn ich aber auf http://myserver/i-doit/installer/index.php
geh und die Daten eintippe kommt nach dem ich den Knopf "Installation prüfen" gedrückt habe nur folgends:_Prüfung der Installationsvorraussetzungen
MySQL-Installationstyp: Automatisch
MySQL-Host: localhost
MySQL-Port: 3306
MySQL-Root-Benutzername: root
MySQL-Root-Passwort: ***
MySQL-i-doIT-Benutzername: i-doit
MySQL-i-doIT-Passwort: ***MySQL-Login als Root-Benutzer:_
Danach passiert nichts mehr.
Da scheint was nicht mit dem SQL Login zu klappen aber was :?:

Ok, Problem gelöst.
War ein fehlender "extensions=mysql.so" Eintrag in der php.ini!
