My issue is similar to a previous one which doesn't seem to have a resolution.
Installing i-doit 1.0 on a fresh CENTOS 6.3 (64-bit) installation.  I have entered all configuration items in the web setup interface, but fail to connect to the database (have verified root connectivity and port through command line and telnet to port 3306). – screenshot attached --

Does anyone have any experience with this error, or have troubleshooting suggestions?  My 30-day demo is counting down 🙂

        Hello,

it seems as if your system denies MySQL to write and/or read data to/from the filesystem. Have you tried (re-)setting the rights?

        Many greetings,
        Leo

I'm not exactly sure what the problem was, but after double-checking the MySQL configuration and making sure the database was functioning as advertised, I followed the "manual setup" instructions.  Up and running now (aside from messing up the demo license… so now we wait for a new one!)

          Best,
          -Adrian
