Únterschied zwischen Standort und Räumlicher Standort?

Hallo zusammen,
ich bin gerade dabei unsere IT Landschaft zu sich durchaus über verschiede Länder hinweg streckt.
Jetzt verstehe ich nicht den unterschied zwischen dem Standort und dem Räumlichen Standort.
Was ich mit der Standortangabe bezwecken möchte ist das ich im CMDB Explorer mich von den Ländern an durchklicken kann und immer sehe was in diesem Land, Stadt, Raum, Schrank, Netz, Server, usw… befindet.Danke für die Aufklärung.
