Installationsprobleme

Hallo,
ich habe Probleme beim Installieren von i-doit 0.9. Ich hab´s jetzt auf einer Kiste mit SuSE 10.2 und mit Fedora Core 6 getestet, beide Male das gleiche Problem:
Nach dem Durchklicken vom Installer kommt nur die Fehlermeldung:
"isys_exception_database : Query error: 'SHOW TABLES LIKE 'isys_registry';': (Extended Information: NULL)" im Browser, die gleiche kam auch unter SuSE.
Im Forum habe ich in einem äteren Post gelesen, dass diese Fehlermeldung auftaucht, wenn kein root-Passwort in mysql gesetzt ist, aber in neueren Versionen eigentlich gefixt sein soll.Kann mir jemand helfen ?

Sieht aus, als sei die DB-Verbindung nicht möglich.

Ja, so war´s wohl. Ich habe jetzt ein root-Passwort für mysql erstellt, dann ging´s.
