How can I add persons to person-groups and/or vice versa?

Hello everybody,
I did hours of researching, try and error, but no success.
I want to add users to my existing person groups, admin for example:
I click on the admin person group, then person groups in the menu and choose members. All person group members are listed. To add a new member I click Add/Remove on the top:
In the following dialog, there is no option to choose users/persons/contacts whatever. The 7 selected objects shown at the bottom are the existing group members, wich I may remove there. Search or Last object doesn't show any users.
What do I wrong?

are you using an admin account or ist your account restricted? It seem that you are missing access rights to some object types or a function as there is no overview name "by object" which lists the objects connected with your selected dialogue.
