PHP cURL Extension: Not found

Hallo zusammen,
ich versuche gerade I-Doit zu installieren.
Ich hab dazu einen neuen Ubuntu 8.04.1 Server installiert und die Idoit Installation so durchgeführt wie es das Wiki vorsieht: http://doc.i-doit.org/wiki/DE:Installation
Wenn ich nun http://i-doit-server-ip-oder-name/i-doit/ aufrufe, kommt bei mir nun unter Step1 / Webserver "PHP cURL Extension: Not found ERROR"
Somit kann ich auch den nächsten Schritt nicht durchführen.
Kann mir jemand sagen wo der Hase im Pfeffer liegt und wie ich das Problem lösen kann?Danke schonmal vorab für eure Hilfe!

Hallo,
ich hatte das selbe Problem. Und ich wollte cURL nicht noch einmal durch eine Neukompilierung in PHP einbinden.
Deshalb:
Zeile 94-100 entfernen aus Datei:
setup/1_system_check.inc.phpIch hoffe, dass Dir der Tipp weiterhilft.
