New install, unable to add data, several errrors.
-
Hi,
Firstly let me say that this project looks like it could be very useful. The logic is very impressive.
Unfortuately I am not able to create anything new.
I can manually add data via webmin to the mysql database or via mysql command line but nothing through the web interface.I have installed it on a 64 bit version of CentOS via the web install. It installed with out errors.
the first error I get is.
isys_module_event_manager does not exist!
I would like to use this module but it says to disable it.Once I have disabled the event manager module I get this error when trying to add a building. (or for that matter anything, I get a similar error)
isys_exception_dao > Running transaction has been canceled. Could not isys_component_dao::update() :MySQL-Error: Unknown column 'isys_catg_distributor__isys_catg_virtual_machine__id' in 'field list'
Thanks for your help.

Just thought I should add a screen shot of the error after trying to add a new building.

When and where have you downloaded the installation package? Your problem is a known error which has been fixed some weeks ago. That error does not occur in the current stable installation package on i-doit.org. To fix it in your installation, you can download the 0.9.4 update, extract it into your i-doit directory and browse to http://your-idoit/updates

I used the SVN client method outlined in the install link from here http://doc.i-doit.org/wiki/Install
Just before I read your post I downloaded the linux source the i-doit.org main page and installed from that and all is working OK. My version from the updates page is now
Operating System
Type: Linux
Version: 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jun 25 13:45:47 EDT 2008
i-doit
Current version 0.9.3-r419
Current revision 3419Thanks for your reply.

But now you've got 0.9.3-r419 ? You should update to 0.9.4 using the following package: http://i-doit.org/de/downloads?id=40
