Problem nach erfolgreicher Installation

Hallo,
ich habe nach erfolgreich durchlaufenden Setupprozess das Problem, dass beim Aufruf der I-Doit Seite nichts angezeigt wird. Der Systemcheck vom I-Doit Installationsskript gibt folgendes aus:

Webserver
Version: Apache/2.2.4 (Linux/SUSE) OK
PHP Version: 5.2.4 OK
PHP Session Extension: Active OK
PHP MySQL Extension: Active OK
PHP XML Extension: Active OK
PHP cURL Extension: Not found - cURL is not mandatory and only needed for external web-services. Activate it if you want to use these services. OK
Database Access Interface (PHP MySQL Extension)
Version: 5.0.45 OKI-Doit liegt in Version 0.9.4-5 vor. OS ist OpenSuSE 10.3. Der Installationsprozess läuft ohne Fehler durch und die Lösungsvorschläge in der FAQ bezgl. des "weiße Seiten"-Problems treffen alle nicht zu.
Bin aktuell etwas ratlos. Hat jemand eine Idee?
Nachtrag: Im IE7 erhalte ich in der Fensterleiste die Meldung "HTTP 500 Interner Serverfehler". PHP5-Skripte werden aber ausgeführt und short open tag ist aktiv.
