    • RE: Rack View not saving!

The update to 0.97-1 didn't work but the SVN 4185 did.

      Thanks for the update.

    • Rack View not saving!

      Guys,

I'm on Rel V0.97 full install from the site.

For some reason the Rack View doesn't save the object positions.
Every time I put my objects (at this stage just a KVM & Monitor while testing) into the rack from the unallocated pool on the right and save it,
it reverts back to having nothing in the rack and the items back in the unallocated pool.

      Workflow is:
      Open Enclosure,
      Click Edit,
      Add item,
      Click Save.

If you want/need log outputs please let me know where they live (i'm a M$ tech not open source so I don't know the structure for Apache/PHP or MYSQL!).

    • Re-usable objects?

How do you create a template object you can reuse? Rather than building each item over and over again?
Eg a power rail with xx sockets? For a large DataCentre this will be tedious to build multiple racks with power rails.
Or a common server type/model - you have several that have the same configuration - 2 nics, 1 management nic, redundant power supply, they all have 2 x 72GB hdd?
      etc.

    • Porting

      Has anyone successfully ported this to M$ $QL $erver 2005/8 & II$ 6/7?

    • RE: Infrastructure question

Where did this request get to?
I note that it was first made a couple of years ago and it is still a feature that would be apreciated.
