      Hi,

During evaluation of i-doit pro I've found problem with editing Layer3-Net objects.
When I try to save changes it displays "CMDB error: General error:Syntax error, malformed JSON."

Did anyone have similar issue? Is it possible to solve it?

      Looking for help
      JW

        Hello JW,

looks like you want to save changes via API?
Or is it an error you get in the frontend?

        Which version are you using?

        Regards,
        jkondek

          It happening in frontend. Especially
          i-doit Code Version 1.7.2
          i-doit Database Version 1.7.2 Revision 21702

After few more tests it seams that issue occurs while Level 2 Net object is attached.

          Thanks in advance

Can you reproduce the problem in the demo?

              Yes I've reproduced it.
Check objects "Test for JSON error".
Try to edit Layer 3-Net "Test for JSON error" and during saving the error appears.

                Hej,

every change is only available on the same date at the demo, so there is no object "Test for JSON error".
Maybe you can write down how to reproduce it or create it once again at the demo?

                Regards,
                jkondek

                  How to reproduce:
                  1. Create a CI of type Layer 2-Net (L2N).
                  2. Create a CI of type Layer 3-Net (L3N).
                  3. Attach L2N to L3N (klik on Folder Net, Edit it, attach L2N), Save it
                  4. Return to category General, edit it, try change sth, when you save it, you'll receive the error.

                    Hej,

sorry, but can't reproduce the problem in the demo.
It's possible to edit the general category from L2N and L3N without error.

                    Regards,
                    jkondek

                      I checked on Testnetz022.
                      1. Click "Testnetz022" in "Object view"
                      2. Edit
                      3. Add something description
                      4. Save
