Add a custom field to a catagory

Hello,
i have a question about a catagory. by example the catagory Model.
Is it possible to add another attribute to a catagory?
There are a few attributes:
Manufacturer:
Title:
Product ID:I need to add: Service express code to this list. Is this possible or do i need to create a custom catagory?

Hi,
it is not possible to edit existing categories. Think about updating your i-doit… I think it would be a problem for you if all your changes are lost after it.
