    • RE: Bug: Request Tracker synchronisation removes custom fields

      An update about this Bug.

If i create a new ticket connected to a custom field in I-doit I get the following error.
PHP Warning:  Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/share/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/isys_cmdb_dao.class.php on line 112

This error is repeated for every custom field that is filled in for the ticket. (So if i create a ticket with 3 custom field entries, give the php command to put the tickets in I-doit, I get this error 3 times beneath eachother!)

    • Bug: Request Tracker synchronisation removes custom fields

      Hello,

I have come across the following bug.

When I use the synchronisation button in the I-doit webinterface there are 13 workstations synced with Request Tracker and there are shown in the RT webinterface.

As soon as I hit the sycnrhonisation button for company 2. 7 of these workstations are removed from the custom fields. As soon as I synchronise again with the webinterface these 7 workstations are shown again….untill I use the controller script again.

The same 7 workstations are removed EVERY time!

      We are running Request Tracker 4.2 & I-doit 0.9.9-6

    • I-doit, Request Tracker synch gives problems

      Hello

      When I run the command; php /var/ww/i-doit/controller.php -v -m request_tracker > /dev/null I get the following error;
PHP Warning:  Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/share/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/isys_cmdb_dao.class.php on line 112

The tickets from the company created with the i-doit installation are synched and shown in I-doit. Tickets from companies I created after the installation with the admin console are not synched.

      Any idea's????!!!!????

    • Request: Changelog/Timeline

Would it be possible to create a changelog/timeline in I-doit.

So when there is a change in the software or hardware of a system it's possible to look back in a timeline to see when and what changes are made?

This would be helpfull for helpdesk employees so when they get a call they can look back to see if a change in soft- or hardware are responseble for a error on a system.

    • View history

We are currently installing I-doit in our companie. We are wondering if it is possible to create a sort of timeline in which we can easely view what is changed since a few days or something.

So when our helpdesk get's a call it can look at a changelog to see if there are changes made to the hardware and software.

Is there a possibility to get this function in I-doit now, or would this type of functionality be available in the near future from now?

    • I-doit, Request Tracker and two companies

      Hello,

At the moment we have two companies created in I-doit, Company A and B. Company A is created at the initial installation of I-doit, Company B is created afterwards.

I have logged in to both companies and made the connection with the RT4 database. I checked the server and clients to be synchronized and I synchronized the systems of both companies in Request Tracker. In Request Tracker all the systems (from A and B) are present to be selected as a custom field.

When creating a ticket in RT and selecting a system of Company A as a custom field the ticket is shown in the I-doit webinterface. However, after creating a ticket that is linked to a system of Company B the ticket is never shown in I-doit!?

Is it not possible to show tickets from Request Tracker in I-doit in multiple companies?

      Greetings,

    • RE: OCS: software not removed in I-doit

As far as I know that is by design.

To my knowledge I-doit copies systems from OCS and places them in it's own database. When the system is removed from the OCS database it still excists in the I-doit's database untill it's manually removed there.

    • Synchronise System TAGS in request tracker

Is it possible to create systems as custom items in RT with the use of the TAG given to a system in OCS?

So when the synchronisation starts it creates custom items that are named the same as the tags in stead of the computername?

    • I-doit & Nagios

      Hello,

For our company I'm currently testing to see if I-doit would be something that we could incorporate in our daily business. I have set up I-doit correctly and I have set up Nagios correctly. Now I'm trying to link these two together but this does not work properly in my case.

Under administration –> Nagios --> NDO Mysql Server I have put in the following values.
      Active: Yes
IP: Ip address from I-doit & nagios server. (both are on the same server)
      Port: Nothing
      Database schema: nagiosql
      DB Prefix: tbl_
      Username:  *****
      Passsword: *****

When I press save I get the following error message:
      Connection to NDO database failed:
isys_exception_database : Access denied for user '*******'@'172.17.6.146' (using password: YES)

When I log in to the mysql database using putty I login with the same credentials as I filled in in these fields.

Could anyone please help me with this problem?

I have read somewheren that I could get more support in the General section that's why I'm posting this question again.

    • Creating a new mandator gives error on login

      Hello

      I have tried creating a new mandator using the tutorial found here;
      http://forum.i-doit.org/index.php/topic,370.msg1341.html#msg1341

Howevere when I try to put this command in SQL it gives an error that the fields isys_mandator__default_lang_const , isys_mandator__default_language_short do not excist in the database. When I remake the SQL command so that these two fields are not used the new mandator is put in the database.

However when this mandator is saved I cannot login the webinterface. As soon as I try to login with my useraccount instead of a mandator + language to choose it shows nothing at all. When I remove the new mandator entry I can login correctly as before.

Anyone here knows what I am doing wrong in creating a new mandator?
