      Hi,

LDAP sync seems to only sync LDAP servers marked as 'active'. But from docs I understand that active means 'Do you want to query the server during login?'.

Why are not active servers not synced? Does it make sense to have an LDAP server which does not sync?

      Kind regards, Wessel

        Hi,

That is correct. Deactivated LDAP servers are not synced anymore because they are deactivated... 😉

You can also ask the question the other way around: "Why are not active servers synced? Does it make sense to have an deactivated LDAP server which will still sync?".

Sometimes you have an old system but want to keep it without using it. Why would you want to sync a deactivated LDAP server?

        Kind Regards,
        Christian

          Ok thanks!

I interpreted 'Do you want to query the server during login?' as feature where we have a login LDAP server and a server just for syncing users.
          But I understand it know.

          Regards, Wessel
