whenever I put in a new CI in monitor and laptop (tested this so far) I get the following error:

Edit: finally able to copy full error:
      Error!
CMDB Error: Missing argument 2 for isys_cmdb_dao_category_g_contact::create(), called in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/category/isys_cmdb_dao_category.class.php on line 1649 and defined (/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/category/global/isys_cmdb_dao_category_g_contact.class.php:591)

CMDB Error: Missing argument 2 for isys_cmdb_dao_category_g_contact::create(), called in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/category/isys_cmdb_dao_category.class.php on line 1649 and defined (/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/i-doit/src/classes/cmdb/dao/category/global/isys_c

I have 0 PHP knowledge so thats why I post it here. This is the line that the error is talking about:

can someone tell my the solution, I have no idea what this error does because I can still save the CI and I can still view it as normal and every think is saved.

Edit: Its not only in Monitor, its in every CI that has the contact assignment in it.

What causes this error: " The cmdb add entry failed." I can' t add a firewall policy due to this error.

        thanks.

          Hi all,

Unfortunately I do not understand what you are doing to get this error message. The error says something about the global category "contact", so maybe the "contact assignment" is meant. Do you save a new object while having the contact assignment on the overview page? If this is correct you can try to remove the category from the overview page and try it again. If not, let us know what you are exactly doing.

          Kind Regards,
          Christian
