Hi,
actually it is not clear to me on which way you try to install i-doit. If you are using the default "install" command provided by "console.php" the issue that no persons are created is unknown to me.
But there is known problem regarding the "install"-script placed in "setup/install.sh" which is not able to create such users because of a bug. We are currently working on this topic.
Until a solution you can use "console.php install" instead.
Unfortunately i think you have a typo in your mysql password for the "root" user. Please try to login via the mysql client directly and ensure that the password is correct:
mysql -u root -p[YOUR_PASSWORD_WITHOUT_A_SPACE_AFTER_P_OPTION]
Best regards
Selcuk

Hey @dd214
you should check the PHP.ini you created for i-doit.
The path is like /etc/php/7.x/mods-available/i-doit.ini
Where the 7.X is the used PHP Version.
If the file does not exist, create one.
See here https://kb.i-doit.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=36864037#DebianGNU/Linux-PHP
Hey @finaria
there is no attribute like this.
If you assign persons to groups like IT Group.
You can set a role for each person in the group.
Like Manager etc.

Hey @jhall
just to be clear: do you want to sort the table that contains all the object types or the table that contains the object of a clicked type?
I'm afraid the object type table can not be "sorted by default" - it is also more of a configuration part of i-doit.
The table of objects (of a clicked type) can be sorted by other fields For this you can open the table configuration via the button on the top right corner of the table.
Best,
Leo
