    @fa__ it is not possible to modify entries. Editing entries would not be audit-proof. @StefanP74, looks like there are more and more bot answers that work with ai models.

    You should consider changing your class to "User" instead of "Users". The list_of_users will then be a list of user objects, instead of a list of names. To implement a changeUser function you probably want to create some kind of variable state which indicates whether a user is currently logged in, and which user it is. It is a better design to split the login handling into a separate class, you could for example call it "LoginHandler".

    @Ranjeet1703 said in Migrate i-doit from 24 to 26 Windows server: Hey folks, i am trying to migrate i-doit version from 24 to 26 on windows server and DB are failed to restore and not allowing me login after restore. is there any document or pointer to help me migrate to latest version. Thanks, Ranjeet Hi Ranjeet, Migrating i-doit from version 24 to version 26 on a Windows server can be complex, especially if the database restore is failing and login issues arise afterward. To help with the migration process, I recommend checking the official i-doit documentation for detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips specific to your scenario. Additionally, you can reach out to the i-doit community forums or support channels for assistance from experienced users and developers who may have encountered similar issues during migration. Best of luck with your migration process. Warm regards, sodacurve

    Hello @Thomas-Schweikle like in the German post: Hello @Thomas-Schweikle if I understand correctly, there is a location with the designation "Home office". If it is then filtered in the object list? or in the report? then Homeoffice becomes Home office? Does the browser have an auto-correction, because i-doit can't do that?

    @Michael-Huhn Thank for your reply. The problem really comes from SELinux, when I switch SELinux to permissive, I can connect to Jdisc.

    Hello, everytime i build a documentation in i-doit i go on with the logical steps as in real live when i start to create new it-infrastructure. But that's just my way to start documentation ... like "go with the flow". First at all: Coffee, cookies and brainstorming what kind of documentation, what granulation, which goal should be achieved? That's soooo important to know. Create ... Locations, Buildings, ... Floors (Level1, Level2, ...), Rooms LAN-Ports in Rooms LAN-Racks, Server-Racks, Patchfields, Power, ... LAN-Equipment (UPS, Switches, Router, ...) ** Server, Storages, build Cluster ... (and connect them to xxx) ** Clients like PCs, NoteBooks, Smartphones, ... (and connect them to xxx) ** Printer, Scanner, conference-sysstems, .... (and connect them to xxx) ** User Software ** Services, contracts, licences, contacts, ... Other equipment like user defined things or non-IT things uuh did i documentated the documentation-steps in wiki? starting finework like user roles, add more and more contacts and manuals for trouble-shooting-situations, ... From point 8 on ... it's jumping around. Between every step i look back and check out: am i on the right way? Is it important? Good to know or involves it a lot of work and nothing else? ** All components with an ip-address are automatically created by discovery-tools like JDisc (Clients, Server, Switches, ...).     Hey all, this is a know bug which was fixed with version 27. The colleagues from development have created a query that selects € and sets it for all users. Please create a backup before using a SQL on your idoit database. Dollar = C__CMDB__CURRENCY__DOLLAR Pound = C__CMDB__CURRENCY__POUND Schweizer Franken = C__CMDB__CURRENCY__SWISS_FRANC Select your data database and use UPDATE isys_user_locale SET isys_user_locale__isys_currency__id = (SELECT isys_currency__id FROM isys_currency WHERE isys_currency__const = 'C__CMDB__CURRENCY__EURO');

    Hey @Michael-Overkamp thank you very much for your quick answer. I am sorry and feel a little ashamed to bother you with this obviously documented matter, I managed to find it myself in german KB. I was just looking into english mutation https://kb.i-doit.com/en/basics/custom-counter.html which states just tbd. I myself would find it useful, if empty kb articles contained at least a ling to their german counterparts, as using translator is much easier for me than trying to find out what to search for in language I do not use fluently. Nevertheless, thank you again.

    We simply added the ldap-sync call to the list of jobs in /usr/local/bin/idoit-jobs, e.g. in the function execute log "LDAP sync" eval "${prefix}${CONSOLE_BIN} ldap-sync --verbose --ldapServerId=1 $suffix" || \ abort "Command 'ldap-sync' failed" The missing parameters to ldap-sync in the aboce command are taken from the $suffix variable.

    Hey @mahir_cabrini, it is also possible to configure SAML with the apache2. There are a lot of guides in the www.
