Hi, Just started to review i-doit. So far looks very good. However, I am suffering with the same issue that OP was suffering from: I can create building locations under the 'Root-Lokation' - this is OK I cannot associate any room with any building that is created. I have tried: 1 - selecting the name of the building from the location pop-up (BTW the buttons in the pop-up do not translate to English) the selected location does not pass back to the main entry screen for the Room. 2 - tried typing in the name - again this is not saved 3 - tried typing in the first few characters of a location, and then selecting the location that appeared beneath the field. this caused a very interesting result of placing code into the field and then redirecting me to the page for the building. I tried this against Chrome, IE and firefox and I get the same result. I tried the on-line Pro version and this works perfectly although i notice that this is not the same version as the opensource version. it would be really good to be able to resolve this issue so that our review could continue.

Same problem does occure on my installation (installed with the up2date version, yesteray). Same picture, same setting. Could anyboy give us a short hint ?

Finally I could fix the problem by setting up an LDAP connection with fictitious data in the login field and then erasing these content in the table isys_ldap from the database _data. I know there isn't a perfecto solution, but at the moment i have no choice. If anyone know other way, please let me know. Thanks in advanced

i got the same problem .. a solution can be: go to administration panel object type configuration infrastructure –select router object-- edit add host address  to: assigned category and shown categories in overview...

Hi, it is not possible to edit existing categories. Think about updating your i-doit… I think it would be a problem for you if all your changes are lost after it. Regards Christian

Hi! No, it will not update the other one. The mandator databases are independent of each other. Regards DD

The databases are configured in src/config.inc.php and in the system database in table isys_mandator

@schwielownet: What did you mean with "remarke"? I have the same problem on my system. I found in my my.ini the line. But what should I do? edit: disable Strict Mode in MySQL-Settings solve the problem. I disable it with the MySQL Instance Configuration Wizard. You have to authorize the i-doit installation to connect to the mysql database from 172.17.6.146, or maybe even from every host with an %. Check the mysql manual for more information about that. You also need to point out if your mysql host accepts tcp connections from other hosts that localhost.

Yea right. We removed those background colors in the recent versions of i-doit so the plus is more visible
