Gruss, jkondek

Hi, yes, we have many big organizations as customers without any problems with the speed of i-doit. The only limitation could be the MySQL-Database and as far as I know, the count of used object would be very high and you can solve that with just more hardware. But we are talking about millions of objects. Kind regards

@tiagoratto: Thanks Leo, But the field isn't being show, only the the field title. Well, yeah - The content of the "title" field is in fact the HTML which will be displayed in the category. Try typing something like 'this is a test Google Search Engine' and watch what happenes Greetings, Leo

Hallo, anscheinend fehlen dir einige Konstanten in der Tabelle isys_obj. Schau mal nach ob du in der Tabelle  isys_obj unter der Spalte isys_obj__const einen Eintrag findest mit 'C__OBJ__PERSON_GROUP_READER' oder 'C__OBJ__PERSON_GROUP_ADMIN'.

Hi and sorry for the late answering, we were very busy in developing version 1.0 where all your requests should be possible as we introduced a json-rpc api in that version. You are able to create a nightly job for transferring your data to i-doit and update existing datasets with that api. Also see here for a short explanation of the API: http://forum.i-doit.org/index.php/topic,2583.0.html

Hi, there is a fix for this behavior. You can find the file under this text. You have to put it in the following folder and replace the old one: "idoit/src/tools/js/" Regards Christian scripts.js

The issue lays in character encoding. i-doit is currently using ISO 8895-15. In short, this encoding is limited to Western European languages. The result is: If you want to translate i-doit into another language which is not supported by ISO 8859-15 it'll become a problem. You have to prepare the whole frontend and backend to work with an encoding standard like Unicode/UTF-8 which supports many more characters for almost every language. The preparation affects the source code, all translations, HTML output, AJAX requests, and PHP itself. Only the MySQL database backend uses UTF-8. Look for any encoding/decoding methods in the source code and patch them. For example, take a look at all files which contain "8859" (index.php, ajax.js, js.php, and functions.inc.php). All files which contain non-ASCII characters have to be converted into UTF-8 (especially the language files under src/lang/). I can't tell for sure if these changes will perfectly work without errors. I haven't tested it yet. But give it a try!

Hello, unfortunately, we cannot tell you an exact date. Furthermore, we want to provide the open version in the future. The actual open source version is already a full usable software and corresponds to the high claims of the users. At the moment we focus on the pro version to secure our long-term engagement for the support of the open version. If you like the new features, which are already released in our pro version, you can help us to promote the open source version by buying it. Regards, Christian
